Arepera Cafeteria Casa de la Cultura

Last week in La Palma I was struggling finding a variety of vegan food an then I arrived at this arepera and the menu was soo full, first I see the word "Cachapa vegetal" written on fist line, as the typical one is filled with white cheese but here it goes delicious vegan cachapa with salad. Very cheap and abundant

The best arepas in La Palma. We love to go there, the service is very nice and the all the food options are very good. The prices are excellent, so you can really sit there, eat and drink without getting scared of the bill. They make original arepas and cachapas from Venezuela. You can sit inside or outside, having a wide choice of places to be. The local is clean and the staff is very polite. Don´t go in a rush, as you will not be the only one ordering food, so take your time and enjoy. This is not a fast food restaurant, they prepare each plate in the moment.

La comida es exquisita y muy casera. Las papas locas parecen hechas en casa, sin ningún rastro de grasas pesadas ni fritangas. Nunca me habían gustado las cachapas hasta que las probé aquí; mi pareja es venezolana y confirma que, por primera vez, le recuerdan a las de su tierra. La atención del camarero es excelente, y los precios son tan bajos que casi dan risa, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta las abundantes raciones. Vivimos en el municipio de San Andrés y Sauces, y ni los kilómetros de distancia ni las carreteras llenas de curvas son un impedimento para ir. El paisaje del camino lo merece, y la comida al llegar es la mejor recompensa, junto con la simpatía de la gente del lugar. Es un sitio tranquilo, perfecto para pasar la tarde. Sin duda repetiría cada fin de semana que pueda, porque en ningún sitio se está mejor que en casa… excepto en la Arepera de la Casa de la Cultura de Puntagorda.

De los mejores bares para comer y pasar un buen rato cuando visitas Puntagorda. Sitio donde disfrutar de comida tradicional venezolana de primer nivel.

Durch Zufall entdeckt und unfassbar zufrieden wieder rausgegangen. Ein Café was von vielen Einheimischen besucht wird. Der Barmann war super freundlich und konnte nicht nur englisch sondern auch ein paar brocken deutsch. Das Essen war der Hammer. Riesige Portionen, üppig belegt und richtig lecker ! Frisches gezapftes Bier, Wein und Baraquito waren auch lecker ! Und sehr Preiswert!

Estupendo sitio para comer y pasar el rato. Platos muy abundantes, generosas cantidades y buena calidad. Los precios, teniendo en cuenta las cantidades son muy buenos. Tiene parte interior con TV, aunque me gusta más la terraza de fuera… además tiene muchos juegos de mesa para entretenerse como ajedrez, cartas y un montón de juegos temáticos. Siempre que he ido bastante bien
